About Harvey Copping and Harrison

As a firm, Harvey Copping and Harrison Solicitors can trace their roots back over 100 years, to the early 1900’s. Since that time, we have been providing legal advice and assistance to the local community, and we have become an established presence on the high street in Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers and, more recently, Canvey Island, having acquired the practice of Beecroft Maxwell in 2012. We have built a large client base not only in these locations, but also in the surrounding towns and villages and beyond.

Our primary focus is to ensure that we deliver a high quality of service to all our clients, and we pride ourselves on the fact that a large number of our clients contact us initially through a recommendation from a friend or family member, whilst previous clients frequently return to us for further advice and assistance, if and when required. We are friendly and approachable, offering a personal service to each client that is tailored to meet their individual needs. We provide clear and practical advice, in terms that our clients can understand, and we ensure that our clients are kept updated throughout the conduct of their matter. The advice and assistance we provide ensures that our clients are able to make fully informed decisions about the key events in their lives.

All our fee earners are specialists in their particular field, and have gained extensive experience in their chosen area of the law. Our conveyancing department have achieved the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme Accreditation, whilst all solicitors in our family department are members of Resolution. Sue Shepard, the head of our family department, is an advanced member of the Law Society Family Law Panel. These endorsements reflect the expert knowledge and experience of our fee earners, across all departments.
